This is the case I got for both my file server and my main server:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112141 I am sad
to see that it is also no longer available but there may be a
replacement model. It was close to $200 when I got mine but I think it
was well worth it.

My supply of "old" hard drives increased significantly when I started
network booting several of my computers. At least 4 of those drives were
doing nothing but holding a RAID1 mirror of a local OS with tons of empty
space because I didn't want anything stored on a non-server.

I even used to have two 120GB hard drives dedicated to my firewall just
holding the OpenBSD OS. Now that is just a 2.5GB directory on my main
server.

I even made my file server with all those disks in it netboot so none of
the disks would be critical. Since I mount them by UUID it is kinda neat
that I can unplug them all and not care what order they are put back in.
The system just figures it out at boot up. That box only takes up 1.1GB
of my main server.
