100 should be okay, although if you want to send more we certainly won't turn them down. any leftovers after the show are given away at the meetings and installfests, and some of the members will grab a handful and hand them out in other places as well, so they will all end up in good homes.
i just looked at your "about" page... it looks like you actually work for (or with) the openSUSE organization. that's pretty cool, i hadn't noticed before. are these going to be super-pretty discs, with the professionally made covers (like what *buntu gives out if you ask, as i did a few years back?)
also, what we normally do at hamcation is take $5 donations in exchange for the cd's, or $10 for three. we also give them away, if we can tell that the person is genuinely interested and would benefit from having it. we would also want to put a sticker on the CD with our group's name and web site on it. do you have a problem with either of these things?
and even better, are you going to be at the hamcation yourself?
