[Leaplist] Serious computer trouble here

Well, the fact is, I tossed the old Hard Drive into the Waste can.
Since such Hard Drives are covered with some sort of protective wrap
when they are delivered new, I would just have to imagine that the
rough treatment the un-wrapped and un-protected Hard Drive received
when I removed it would now be useless, wouldn't you?  William
