It was pretty marked down when I ordered it for the heck of it from 
buy.com or something years ago.  It was like 12ft plus a DA cable of the 
same length for like $12 or something.  So it was about $0.50 a foot 
then.  Maybe not that great, but whatever, until it died...

I've been ordering cables from CCT and have had a good experience every 
time for many years now.  I guess I'll need a replacement cable now.
