[Leaplist] so my s-video cable failed?

Confirmed it with a working cable.  Was sure it was a piece of actual equipment 
instead.

I've not lost an s-video cable and an RCA video cable.

How is it that physical cables fail in a static position, unmoved for ages, 
seemingly out of the blue?

(This was a Monster Cable I got on sale extremely cheaply, or I would've gone 
generic.  More like monster useless.)
