Seems it was just having a bad day.  Even after several restarts to FF 
and to Omega it self it just did not want to work.  After reading your 
e-mail I was going to follow your steps at the end to remove/add flash 
but for what ever reason FF chose to work this time and install and 
activate Flash.

I do not think it was part of the default install as I did not play with 
IE much other then to use it for updates to the OS and to download and 
install FF.  I never did test the flash in FF as it does not come as a 
default and was not part of the test parameters knowing that there are 
issues with flash in all OSs.

as for flash in linux v windows, that was not my point to this e-mail 
that is why i started a new e-mail just asking for help with omega and 
not in the sad state of linux default desktop install e-mails.
