They could have made it a little more clear, not to mention you can't read the
entire description in the teeny tiny window they give you, but the whole thing
depends on the kio-slaves.

If you add an addressbook and pick...

Network (Provides access to contacts in remote files using KDE's network
framework KIO. Supports standard VCard files and other formats depending on
available plugins.)

then fill in the file location (just as you would in dolphin or konqueror)

webdavs://dan@servername.localnet:443/webdav/vcard/addressbook.vcf
    where	:
	dan is the webdav user
	webdav is the apache alias
vcard' is the folder that contains the vcf file
and addressbook.vcf is a single vcf file containing all of your contacts

fwiw,
the calendar works the same. Choose the same option for a new calendar, and
reference your daviCal calendar with

https://servername.localnet/cal/caldav.php/dan/home
  where:
	cal is the apache alias
caldav.php is the daviCal executable in the cal folder (shouldn't change)
dan is the calendar owner in the pg database
and home is the specific calendar within the database

Sorry for being so 'wordy', but I hassled over the syntax quite a bit, and if
this saves you a handful of failed accesses, then it's worth it.

hth,
Dan
