Yep. AVG, or the other one, that is FREE, Avast
are AV products for WINDO$E Machines... Unix, Linux, Macintosh (BSD
based) systems don't need any AV products, as they have NO Microsoft
Virus'!
But, we can run a firewall, and do clamwin and other protective measures,
to protect a rare legacy Micro$oft machine on our network, if we
positively, absolutely, MUST suffer one of those abominations...
I know that an 8 year old system, called XP Pro, worked as an isolated
gaming machine, and we NEVER network it, just to protect our network.
But, XP is not "supported" anymore, so is even less trustworthy than it
was 5 years ago...
