Not married to it.  It's just pretty simple and lightweight.

The problem seems to be the lease doesn't actually expire, at least as 
far as pump knows.  So it tries to renew it periodically, but the DSL 
modem has no knowledge of it and just rejects the renewal request.

What's more, as soon as the modem power cycles, I think the IP address 
is no longer hot, so the lease I already have is for a bad IP.

Can't imagine what I ultimately did to solve this.  Maybe it was just 
*/2 pump in a cron job.

Ugh, it's going to spam me occasional pump renewal failed emails now. 
Have to redirect to /dev/null.  Sigh.

(Yes, I could let the DSL modem route, but its built-in firewall sucks 
and I can't do effect traffic shaping -- any at all -- on it.)
