[Leaplist] dhcp & stale leases

I have a DSL modem in pass-through mode and periodically, the power goes
out. (No more UPS ports and internal switch is more important.) I'm
running `pump` as the dhcp client.

After a power cycle, pump will obviously fail to renew a lease the DSL
modem is unaware of.

I could just run `pump -i eth` via cron every minute, but I am curious
if there's some more elegant solution, given the NIC signals loss of
cable when the DSL modem cycles and the lease renewal is denied.

I know I had this issue years ago, but that box is long gone, along with
my solution, whatever it ended up being.

Thanks.
