Except maybe losing a book you're writing, or a program that took you months 
to write.

Of course if you're doing backups every day then you might be right that it's 
worth losing 1 day of work to losing your windows system, but it's close. 
Back in the old days when I used windows, I could wipe the disk, install 
Windows, install all the software, lay down the data, and fix all the little 
bugs in about a day.
