While this comes up in Google quite a bit, no one seems to know what 
exactly is going on.  It happens for me under

Linux zimbra 2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Mon May 11 19:00:59 UTC 2009
   i686 GNU/Linux

But the issue seems to have been backported into recent RHEL kernels as 
well.  Anyone have any ideas on what I might do to resolve it?

My host happens to be running under VirtualBox, but it happens on 
systems without any virtualization running.

(My tsc unstable might be a virtualization issue; the host is only an XP 
1800+ afterall.)
