I understand your frustration. If you'd like to have an offline
version of that guide, you can do this:
From the terminal:
$ cd {to the directory you want to download to}
$ wget -m -L http://tille.garrels.be/training/bash/
This will create a folder with the entire online guide downloaded for
offline use. I've had to do this for some of the guides I use and it
usually works quite well. Its not as elegant as having a single html
or PDF, but it gets the job done.
