I have an HP Laserjet 3050 that is truly a wonderfull printer.  I can 
and have used the Scanner capabilities of this multi-tasking machine and 
it works fine under Windows XP. 

My question :  Is there a Linux OS program that will handle  / or does 
include, the Scanner capabilities of multi-tasking machines such as the 
HP 3050?

The monetary savings of such a multi-tasking machine for altering and 
tweeking legal documents is signifiicant.
