*laugh* Actually loooking at Microsoft's Business Accounting as it is 
free as in beer and payroll is only $17/mo for what we do *laugh*

As much as it makes me shudder, I prefer pragmatism...

Otherwise looks like smb-ledger might be a better bet if you don't need 
payroll or plan on doing it manually in OOo.  Web based Perl stuff is 
pretty dead end these days, though, and the few PHP based general ledger 
apps all use MySQL.

Being a SME looking for Open Source (tm) GL apps, you're kind of screwed 
I think.
