[Leaplist] Intrusive and obstructive pop-up window with Firefox

Interestingly enough, Casey Research seems to be a site for investors in
gold, silver, and other precious metals. Perhaps some adware was trying
to send you there, but messed up because you were running Firefox
instead of Internet Exploder?
