Hello List:
I have a supermicro server 1015v-m3 server with SATA disks. I can't
install linux as it doesn't recognize the disks.
I have made a raid-0 device with only 1 disk but it still doesn't shows
up :(, so i downloaded the lsi driver from
http://www.lsi.com/cm/License.do?url=http://www.lsi.com/DistributionSystem/AssetDocument/MPTLINUX_RHEL5_SLES10_PH16-4.18.00.00-1.zip&prodName=LSISAS1068E&subType=Driver&locale=EN
compiled it in another box for centos kernel 2.6.18-128, but i don't
know how to load the .ko files in the instalation process.
I have a usb pen drive with syslinux and the instalation images, and I
normaly install using a kickstart with the instalation media via http.
there are my syslinux lines:
label centos64
kernel vmlinuz64
append initrd=initrd64.img
those two images are from centos/5/os/x86_64/isolinux/initrd.img and
centos/5/os/x86_64/isolinux/vmlinuz from the instalation media renamed.
I got these .ko files generated after making the srpm from lsi:
mptbase.ko
mptctl.ko
mptfc.ko
mptlan.ko
mptsas.ko
mptscsih.ko
mptspi.ko
regards,
