Recently, the upgrade that went badly for me I would have just done
another upgrade to it, but when I ran the install/upgrade disk the
second time, it could not figure out that I had Linux installed and
didn't offer the upgrade choice. So something vital to figuring out that
Linux was already installed was missing from the upgraded partition.

Since I didn't feel like breaking into the code to figure out what it
was looking for and since there was nothing important on that partition,
I just went with a format and install. Which worked perfectly.

But whatever went wrong with the upgrade from 10 to 11 went pretty far
wrong.
