:-)

Dave -- you need to understand that I've been a Mandriva Man since June
2000 -- 9 months before I converted my business activities to Linux. Every
couple years I evaluate multiple distros in hopes of getting something even
better than Mandriva, and it hasn't happened yet (SuSE came pretty close).

I've slowly been setting up my new Mint notebook as a clone of my Mandriva
desktop. My business computer must be able to do things like personalize an
eBook (pdftk), run LyX, and several other things that might not be as simple
as they initially seem. If I get the notebook to perform just like the
desktop, my plan is to switch over to Mint :-)

I also need to get more familiar with Debian based distros -- I did RH
1998-2000, and Mandrake/Mandriva 2000-2009.

So yeah, the plan is to go Mint, if everything works out as I hope.
