I have to say I am real glad Bryan piped in on this. He helped me build
a web/e-mail/file server a few years back with a real server board and a
great SATA PCIe x4 RAID card and this thing just runs like no one
business. In the past I have played with FRAID and never have been
happy with the performance. a real hardware RAID card/board is the only
way to go for good solid performance.
