[Leaplist] directory "size", does it matter?

Can you use any of those yet on Linux, other than ReiserFS, which I'd 
recommend against?  Is ext4 out finally?

After being burned by ReiserFS, I flirted with XFS for a while and now I 
mainly use ext3 again.
