The example is for the netbeans IDE but I have used it to create
documentation for some basic procedures at work.
For linux there is Istanbul Desktop Session Recorder, unfortunately, I
don't get to spend a lot of time in a linux desktop anymore and I
haven't had an opportunity to use it yet.
