here's sum food fur thawt...
Quantek is a repair shop with a ton of used/repaired phones - some pretty 
cheap, and they take trade-ins.  They can also unlock phones to work with 
almost any service (ymmv) so you may be able to find a suitable phone, then 
unlock it to work with Alltel.  possibly wurth a fone cawl.  (407) 522-9292
