Yes, we want to scan physical documents and fax them electronically.  Thanks for the warning. We ought to look for plain paper, machine and not for those thermal printer. She is not expecting to receive much just send faxes.

Oh, I assumed the multi-function unit would let you manually fax physical paper.  But maybe you wanted to scan physical documents and fax them electronically?

Make sure you obtain a fax machine that takes plain paper.  The old thermal transfer ones that took the special rolls were a rip off.
