[Leaplist] Installing Acroread

I get an error message 
"E: /var/cache/apt/archives/acroread_9.2-1karmic1_i386.deb: corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive"

Can someone help me fix this  error. I did not face this problem when I installed Acroread on my notebook though.
