[Leaplist] OOo question with large numbers

I am in need of creating a document in table form with large numbers and 
I want to leave the , at the 000 marks.  OOo refuses to allow me to do 
this and deletes my ,.  how do i stop this.

example:

1,000,000,000,000 is what I want and OOo changes that to 1000000000000  
i NEED my , for this document.
