[Leaplist] quick opinions - ubuntu vs. mint

I am running Mint 7 on my laptop and love it. It seems like It has a
strong support following per their forums, although I haven't needed
help yet - it just works. I'm not sure that Mint 8 is stable though, I
think it's still developement.
