Seconding System76. I'd like it if they'd ship an openSUSE model
(obviously) but I reviewed one of their machines several years ago and
they used pretty high-quality parts, etc.

I also have had the pleasure of talking to the founders a bit, in
particular Carl. He's a good guy and they seem focused very much on
being a good community citizen and quality over fast growth.
