[Leaplist] why do i have to reinstall vmware-server every time

Now it tells me VMWare is installed, but not configured properly and to
run the /opt/vmware/.... command to reconfigure. when I do that, it
still gives me the same error and now it will not start.
looks like i am stuck reinstalling every time i need to reboot or logout
of the GUI. this sucks.
