[Leaplist] why do i have to reinstall vmware-server every time

after reinstalling vmware-server and the VM starts the client (VM) is 
winXP Pro, thought i mentioned that oh well.  when i am done with XP i 
click start, shut down, and power off the VM, then inside VMWare control 
GUI i click, file, exit.  that is how i shut down VMWare every time.
