[Leaplist] Recombining a divided and Formatting a hard disk

One of my Notebook I had divided into NTFS and Ext 3. Now I want to recombime them in one Ext 3. I have GPARTED but can't figure out how to achieve the objective. Any help would be highly appreciated.
