Hello Members of LEAP,

I am enrolled in a Technical Report Writing class here at Lake Sumter
Community College. Our final project this semester is to write a large
multi-user report that is supposed to suggest a solution for a problem in
some organization or company. In thinking about the myriad of possibilities
for different reports I could write, I decided on this:

"Cost Analysis of Replacing Windows with LINUX in a 30 Computer Environment"

The report will essentially take a fictional company and show what the cost
of implementing LINUX in that environment would be.

One of the requirements of this report is to do at least two face to face
interviews. Although I have not attended many LEAP meetings, I do watch
this list quite carefully and I have noted that there are at least a couple
of members who have relevant knowledge that would be germane to the general
subject of my report. That said, I would like to interview anyone who is
interested in being interviewed to gain information to better formulate my
report. I have also sent this request to GOLUG.

I live in Eustis, but would be most happy to travel for an interview. I am
currently planning on attending the October meeting of LEAP, and so I could
conduct the interview after the meeting.

The interviews should occur between now and the 7th of November (my report
must be finished by Thanksgiving).

Bassed on the feedback I get from those I interview, I would like to present
this report to either (or both) LEAP and GOLUG. I am sure that this kind of
knowledge would assist others working in professional environments to push
LINUX as a viable solution.

That said, if for some reason you would like to be interviewed but would
rather remain anonymous, I would be most happy to anonymize your responses.
My prefference, though, is that if at all possible that those I interview
would go on the record.

I appreciate any assistance you can provide for this project.

Reguards,

Alexandros "Aleksei" Nipirakis
