*Position Overview:*

The Senior AIX Systems Engineer will provide professional technical 
leadership and guidance to e-TechServices Personnel and Customers. The 
Engineer will perform on-site and remote AIX / Open Systems services, 
including workshops, system/software installations, system/software 
configuration validation, problem analysis and troubleshooting. This 
position will support and perform the installation, configuration, 
customization and diagnostics of systems, drivers, peripherals, 
operation systems and network communications. The Engineer will focus on 
services growth through business development and client satisfaction, in 
delivering a successful services engagement.

*Required Skills and Experience:*

   * 5-10 years experience in technical environment
   * Must be technically oriented with advanced experience in AIX,
     Linux, and SAN
         o Logical and Micro Partitions
         o HMC
         o HACMP & HAGEO
         o SVC
         o DS8000, DS4000
         o Cisco and Brocade SAN Switches and Directors
   * IBM AIX and San technical certification a plus
   * VMWare experience and certifications a plus
   * MS Windows experience and certifications a plus
   * Must have an advanced understanding of infrastructure
     architectures and network topologies.
   * Must be detail-oriented, capable of providing technical leadership
     while ensuring quality results.
   * Must be willing and able to travel (in state) as required to
     perform services.
   * A self-starter, comfortable in a start-up environment.
   * Constantly keeping abreast of changes in technology and sharing
     with customers and colleagues.
   * IBM pre-sales consulting a plus.
   * BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and/or
     experience.
