Same link for 5400rpm is now $66.99 - $20 MIR = $46.99,
under $0.15/GB.

I just bought 250GB at $44.99 after rebate last month!

And now this same link for 7200rpm is now much cheaper at
$86.99 - $20 MIR = $66.99, just barely over $0.20/GB.

And I bought 320GB 5400rpm at $79.99 after rebate over
three (3) months ago!

I'm not buying anything until the 2 x 250GB platter 500GB
drives become available and are at the same prices,
$0.15/GB for 5400rpm and $0.20/GB for 7200rpm, if not a
few pennies less (which is likely in another 3 months).

I don't have a "favorite Linux distro."  I use, develop
and support community efforts, often built around Linux.
