Did you see the blow out prices at CompUSA?

I bought a 17" widescreen monitor for a friend, for $119! 1440X900
resolution.

It is VGA only. That alone would save a few hundred bucks, meaning there
could be two or three more units purchased!

The ART classroom has two systems, and really could use 17" square LCDs
for graphics? $139 2000:1 Contrast Ratio. 1280X1024 Max Resolution.

The Kindergarden through 3rd graders are safe with the four (4) CRT
systems. They can tend to poke at the pictures...

The High School has the most systems, 10, or 12, I think.

Three Teacher systems might be better used with LCD units, in an energy
sense, because they are definitely ON during all classes, while the
students turn on the workstations for their lessons, leaving them off
until that time of the day.

Teacher stations are also used by some more advanced students during the
research and performance portions of the classes. Sometimes, teachers
devote special tutoring to students on the system at the Teacher's desk.
