Sorry, was writing this on the MARTA, and had to go back to
Yahoo's auto-save draft more than once.

In a nutshell, I often see changelogs in the RPMs that match
to Bugzilla that are often upstream fixes.  At this point,
I'm purposely "staying back" on kernels from Fedora, because
of the upstream changes that keep snagging me. Red Hat does
patch the Fedora kernels more than they probably like to.

I don't have a "favorite Linux distro."  I use, develop
and support community efforts, often built around Linux.
Technology and solutions are my focus, not dragging in
assumptions, marketing and other concepts which dominate
non-community developed software, which I left long ago.
