Indeed.  I am using dnsmasq internally and it works fine for both DNS 
shadowing and DHCP.  I never got around to setting up reverse DNS for 
DHCP lease addresses, though.

I intend to keep using djbdns for my upstream DNS.  It works extremely 
well for that.
