Thanks for the reply, Steve. I looked at the setup for djbdns, and although
it looks simpler than bind9, I still found several points of difference in
various tutorials, based on the initial set up and installation. It appears
to be rock solid, but I'm not game for learning another dns system from
scratch. dnsmasq, though not as powerful, is an extremely simple system to
install and configure and should meet my needs.
