[Leaplist] low cost Linux telephony?

We use Asterisk for DR comm in our satellite comm trailers, some county health depts as their primary PBX and at HQ for the service desk. I've used it as a home user as well. I have a friend who runs a pc repair and consulting business and he uses it for all his business calls as well (only 3 or 4 lines for him)

Anyone using a local Asterix server or an online VoIP solution for 
handling small business voice communications?  I'm paying Embarq an 
insane amount of money for two analog lines, call forwarding, caller ID, 
and voice mail.
