It's been long enough now that I don't remember exactly.  I did make
the mistake of mixing stable with testing and unstable, which made a
mess.  Also I seem to remember wanting an application I read about--I
installed it, but the version I got didn't have the cool stuff that
made me want to have it.

I spent alot of time fixing stuff and using checkinstall to make
packages when unstable wasn't unstable enough.
