I think I saw a message here recently which said something to the effect 
that when
one's Uninterruptible Power Supply-APS Unit's battery fails, that, 
instead of buying a new battery from the Manufacturer of the Unit (or 
the outfit the Mfg'r recommends) one can go to his local Battery 
Supplier and buy a certain type of battery.

If that was here, would you please send it again?

Should any battery used in such units be a Sealed battery?

Is the DC voltage 12 volts?

Recommended hour/amps?
