Oooooooohhhh, man, I *definitely* 2nd that motion. RedHat used to have a 
fabulous set of pages where they described hardware support status 
broken down by mbd, NIC, gfx card, chipset, etc., i.e. piece by piece. 
Had 'em all marked with color bars (green-yellow-red) for 
support-status, URL's for whoever was maintaining drivers, etc. *Very* 
nice. I had it bookmarked, but have misplaced the bookmark or (more 
likely, I think) the URL isn't there any more. *Way* too bad ....
