Tons of new folks are attending install fests after some horrific
experiences with Microsoft, bad things like not knowing they need to
defrag often, fully format and re-install at least 3 times each year,
and the constant barrage of adware bots, exploits, trojans, worms.
Here is some insight into what they'll miss when they run a Linux distro
instead of "Windows, the crapware OS".
Not mentioned in many of these articles is the virtual desktop
environment in Linux, that starts with 2 or 4 desktops, but can be
expanded to as many as 20 or even 36 desktops!
Here is some commentary to be filed under LINUX ADVOCASY: A NEW, BETTER
SYSTEM!
