[Leaplist] leap state of the union?

Good, yes, no, absolutely not, and Debian Etch.
I thought the installfest was great, as usual. There were 2 new people
looking for help, and another who is a friend of mine with an interest
in Linux. We got Ubuntu 8.04 installed and working on his e-machines
laptop, and that even included alsa sound. Something was wrong with the
air conditioning, because it was very comfortable all day long. We were
able to trip a circuit breaker by running the installfest through a
single plug strip, and someone seemed to re-flash our router with the
Linksys firmware. We never got the chance to reboot the firewall, maybe
next month.
The distros were varied; the Ubuntu flavors, Fedora, Mint, Debian, and I
am sure a few others were running; and there was no shortage of Mac's
either. Vernon did the honors of delivering Pizza, and with donuts in
the a.m., it was a good day.
