[Leaplist] Debian on my Laptop

I have installed Suse 10.2 on a machine at work, and found it installed
and worked very well. When your computer comes up after a Debian
install, do you get a command prompt? Also, did you use the full CD, or
did you do a net install. I have never had a Debian full CD install go
flawless, and on the same note, I have never had a net install fail. If
you have the internet bandwidth, try to install Debian with the net
install CD and see if it goes better.
