[Leaplist] Clustered file systems?

For a project I'm working on I need to plan for a) multiple servers  
and b) clustered file storage so that c) all servers can access the  
large volume of clustered, redundant data?  And lastly, I'm less  
focused on hardware reliability as I am OS reliability.  What's a good  
starting point?  Thanks :)
