[Leaplist] BEAP-CF.org -- oops!

For those of you that are members of the BSD Enthuiasts And Professionals (BEAP-CF) group who might be wondering why the beaplist is so quiet, or have tried to get to the www.beap-cf.org site, well, we have a problem. The registration for the domain name has expired, and I seemed to have lost it. GoDaddy sent me a renewal notice about two weeks ago, when I was on business travel. By the time I opened the notice and got onto the renewal site, someone else had already taken the domain name. So for us, beap-cf.org is no more, unless we can get it back somehow.

I have no notices from GoDaddy in my email box about the expiration, and it seems pretty crappy they gave me less than two weeks after the notice mailing to respond, but at this point there is nothing I know to do about it. GoDaddy certainly won't help. The person listed in the whois database is not responding to my emails, and the new beap-cf.org doesn't open anything at present.

Some good news is that I was able to get to alternatives: BEAP-CF.NET and MYBEAPCF.ORG. The first seems the more tenable. Well, all I can say is, sorry. :-(
