What kind do you mean?
Do you mean 3G1xEVDO Rev A, which can send you bursts of data @ 3.2
Mbps? If so, then...
I have used a couple of different models and they work well.
Currently I'm using one model number PC5750 available from Verizon
Wireless. At the next meeting and/or installfest. I can show you my
card and set-up. (I've been meaning to write a small web page about
it but I haven't yet.)
As John suggested, Google will lead you to discover that many of these
devices are supported in Linux. Remember that while the service
provider (Verizon, Sprint, or whoever) will not necessarily be able to
help you sometimes the device manufacturer can. Also, there are many
forums for this kind of thing which contain useful information even if
they're not Linux-centric. So again, Google is your friend.
