Agreed, maybe to take it a step further, If I type my business information 
using an Underwood typewriter and G-P typing paper, neither of those 
companies should have a claim on my information!  They're tools that I 
purchased.  Likewise, if I record some information on Memorex tape with a 
Panasonic tape recorder, or take a picture with Kodak film using a Minolta 
camera - yada, yada, yada.
