[Leaplist] Linux Industry Certs... good idea?

I have personally posted quite a few links to this board for Linux jobs
available in the Orlando area. I would jump on them, but I am far from
ready to take on a role supporting Linux boxes. I hope to be there one
day. I have found these jobs on Careerbuilder, Monster, and Dice.
